First TEST builds out for Y550-L01

Thanks to patrik.KT and hecaex there are the first CM11 test builds out:

I had a little problem to install the latest version of patrik.KT.

My Y550-L01 has the bootloader unlocked, TWRP installed and is rooted.

I had already the Huawei B246 rom installed.

When I tried to install CM11 via TWRP, I got an error that "externalSD" could not be found.

By trying I was able to install CM11 with the Original system recovery.

• To do this I pressed and hold "Vol +" and "Vol -" and pressed "Power".
• The original Huawei system recovery B239 came up.
• I choose install zip and selected the CM11 rom.
• CM11 installed :wub:

Please have in mind that these builds are purely for testing and not for every day use. ;)

I tested the patrik:KT from 11.03.2015 in everyday use.

 

To use the camera I installed Camergo lite.

There is a fix for the wifi in the xda thread somewhere, but as I do not use the wifi, you have to look into that yourself, ;)

 

So far It runs stable. Not once crashed.

Unfortunately I will replace it with a Elephone P7000 (preordered it). That will come with Lollipop and Elephone has other ROMs to be released soon.
