Guest deaglecat Posted August 7, 2015 Report Posted August 7, 2015 Like others I have de-vodafoned (is that a word ?) my SU6.The only other thing that I would like to do is change the voda splash screen on boot to a stock android one. Is that possible ? And if not currently maybe in future.....
Guest BigD18t Posted August 7, 2015 Report Posted August 7, 2015 Just done this myself, and its very easy.In your File explorer with root access, I use ES, go into device, system, media and delete the boot animation.zip.Reboot and you get the default splash screen then the stock Android animation.
Guest Frankish Posted August 7, 2015 Report Posted August 7, 2015 It requires root. I posted a thread with some build.prop tweaks. BigD's method works but I would recommend renaming it to boot animation.bak or something. Or in my thread there is a single line to add to build.prop that disables the boot animation.
