Reception not great?

I am coming from an old iPhone 5C, I am on O2, at home I always got minimum 3 bars signal, usually almost full.  On this phone I see No Service a lot of the time. Anyone else getting this?

Is this with WiFi on or off?

I sometimes see no signal with WiFi on, but if I turn it off I have a great signal. 

Also I'm on Vodafone.

I live in an area where signal is patchy on most networks. There is a Samsung s4, a moto g 4g and my su6 in the household all on Three. Signal is pretty much the same as everyone else. The same on my iPhone 6 and my Blade Q Mini.

Yes wifi is on, Its OK outside the house just at home really. At home I have O2 TUGO running which will handle no signal etc via wifi so wont miss calls or anything
