ZUK is lenovo's New Brand. Z1 is its first smartphone. The ZUK Z1 just released Yesterday.

It is a new affordable smartphone with USB-C connectivity. ZUK priced the Z1 at 1,799 yuan ($280) and hopes to attract customers with the USB 3.1 speeds support to load and unload data quickly to and from the 64GB internal storage. As well as the advanced port, the ZUK Z1 also packs a punch in the power plant department with its impressive 4,100mAh battery. There's also a fingerprint reader, but this button also serves to complete other functions too, including to go home, view recent apps and migrate between apps that are currently open. The Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor powers the smartphone, alongside a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS display, 3GB of RAM, 13-MP rear shooter (with 8-MP selfie machine on the front), dual Nano SIM slots and even a customized Android Lollipop ROM - ZUI. To make full use of the USB-C port, ZUK will also be looking to release a pair of compatible earphones that will utilize the port, offering adjustable noise cancellation. For those with standard headgear, the handset also sports a 3.5mm headphone jack. Better yet, both ports can supply music to external sources simultaneously.
