Guest LiNe171 Posted August 14, 2015 Report Posted August 14, 2015 (edited) After rooting phone with that crap program MobileGo were all nice.. Then i realized SuperSu binaries were always failing to update so i installed KingRoot, rooted with that and unistalled SuperSu.. Then i rebooted the phone and now it's stuck at bootanimation.. Can't log off, enter recovery mode, nothing.. What can i do?.. Edit: Fixed it by press vol - + power key a few time.I don't recommend to use that MobileGo to root.. Binaries doesn't update and it screwed my phone for a little a time.. Edited August 14, 2015 by LiNe171
Guest macbreakweeklyfan Posted August 14, 2015 Report Posted August 14, 2015 The same thing happened to me with that "KingoRoot" or "KangaRoot" or whatever silly name it is, installed. I can't imagine it's the root at fault, it's more likely some fragile software mechanism in a cheap and very cheerful phone, that's not tested to destruction for robustness of code, due to the low price.
Guest ohyesman Posted August 14, 2015 Report Posted August 14, 2015 Were u completely stock when using this?
Guest LiNe171 Posted August 14, 2015 Report Posted August 14, 2015 No, i had ota update and i've also rooted and unrooted the phone a few times.
Guest macbreakweeklyfan Posted August 14, 2015 Report Posted August 14, 2015 No, i had ota update and i've also rooted and unrooted the phone a few times.Just a point of note: [STOCK] --->> [STOCK WITH OTA] is still stock, it's just stock that's been updated. If it comes from the vendor, it's stock, whether that means the version it shipped with, or the version it shipped with and you received an official OTA update for, it's still stock.
Guest LiNe171 Posted August 14, 2015 Report Posted August 14, 2015 Im from Portugal. Portugal Vodafone no longer giving the update via ota or other way.. So.. Its full stock for me xD
Guest brmourato Posted August 20, 2015 Report Posted August 20, 2015 Happened the same to me but Vol-+ Power not working.. Anything else I can do?
Guest LiNe171 Posted August 20, 2015 Report Posted August 20, 2015 Press vol- + power key for a few minutes, not few seconds.
Guest brmourato Posted August 20, 2015 Report Posted August 20, 2015 Yes, I understood and have done that but withou result. Now, I managed to enter system recovery and I'm download update from zte to put to microsd and apply update from sdcard. Let's hope it works...
Guest brmourato Posted August 20, 2015 Report Posted August 20, 2015 Tried to apply update from sdcard but got message e:footer is wrong e: signature verification failed Installation abortedWhat am I doing wrong?
Guest LiNe171 Posted August 20, 2015 Report Posted August 20, 2015 Maybe you've downloaded the wrong update to your country or phone... You need stock recovery and just put the update.zip ( only the update.zip ) on sdcard, then go to definitions -> about phone -> upgrade phone -> sdcard way -> choose update.zip and it will auto install.
Guest brmourato Posted August 20, 2015 Report Posted August 20, 2015 (edited) I'm on portuguese vodafone and downloaded the correct version from zte site.I'm,stuck on boot animation so can't update the way you say.anything else I can do? Edited August 20, 2015 by brmourato
Guest LiNe171 Posted August 20, 2015 Report Posted August 20, 2015 Well.. Try a few times vol + and power key and vol - and power key a few more minutes.. If nothing happens.. Let drain the battery.
Guest brmourato Posted August 20, 2015 Report Posted August 20, 2015 Solved. I was trying to install the zip file I downloaded from zte and not the update.zip within that zip. Thanks for your help :)
