Android 5.1 now available for the Honor 6+

Android 5.1 is now available for the Honor 6+!

Simply download the update using our local mirror (also available direct from Honor), extract the contents of the dload folder in the zip to a SD card and use the 'Local Update' option in your device's settings menu. Note that this shouldn't wipe your device, but of course make a backup of your data first, just in case! An OTA release of the update will be available in the near future.

Double tap to wake is broken in 5.1 for the Honor 6+

Hi RedSlug, we found that some people needed to factory reset after the 5.1 update had been flashed. After a factory reset double tape to wake, screen gestures and the new 3D mode in wide aperture mode as well.
