Guest bbthebeard Posted October 3, 2015 Report Posted October 3, 2015 OTA Updated Hudl2 to Lollipop now lost root and if i try to re root it , Droid boot says Device state locked. Fastboot = Result: Fail (bootloader must not be locked).Does this mean latest firmware cannot be rooted?
Guest Posted October 3, 2015 Report Posted October 3, 2015 No it just means we have to use different techniques / strategies in order to obtain a rooted build. Work in progress .....
Guest bbthebeard Posted October 4, 2015 Report Posted October 4, 2015 Thanks for the reply. Looks like i will have to wait then. Just tried your restore sparse.img method (made before update) No luck there either. Says boot loader locked
