Clock Drift and video stutter?

My Hudl 2 has worked just fine until recently, its only 4-5 months old.

At the weekend I noticed my clock was way out, so I reset it manually and a few hours later it was out by about 40mins. I've also noticed Netflix and Now TV both show stutter while streaming, its not network lag, the sound doesn't drop but it looks like some frames drop every few seconds. Very annoying to try and watch something.

Any tips on solving this?

My hudl 2 is out the box and updated to loilipop. Its not rooted.

I too also have time drift. Reminiscent of a watch with its battery about to expire! 10 mins here, 20 mins there...

Tried using location as time marker and input manually too but problem comes back at random.

Very intermittent!

Your router could be the source of the problem. I had similar trouble when the computer I was using as a Wi-Fi hotspot, developed bad sectors in its disk (and was regularly stalling, therefore).

I tried resetting the router, thanks for your suggestion.

Anyway, whatever was causing that + vid stuttering crashed my whole tablet. I just posted a thread on it.

I am also having the stutter issues and I even tried using SetCPU app to force the CPU to run faster.. still no joy. Netflix stutters every few seconds (video only).
