Flashing spelling suggesrions on tap

It flashes when you tsp on misspelt words, rather than staying on screen to allow you to choose the correct spelling etc.

 

Some one posted this vid on a thread on hukd to illustrate the problem. Anyone else had this. Any workarounds?

Quick question for you folks. Are most of you running the stock launcher or something different. I myself run a port of the HTC sense 7 with no lag problems. Also tried the Asus zenfone launcher with no lag .... yes I know there are probably better ones on ps and FREE (free my ass -.-) but these 2 are very bugfree and fast. Also replaced the keyboard with a port of the Samsung g s6 version and its very responsive ... this is all without root ... overall very happy, waiting for the fw update now to iron out the bugs.

Although you've hijacked somebodies else's thread which is naughty ;) I use Smart Launcher with the Swype keyboard, both excellent for my purposes.

Hmm, you're right, I'd never noticed because I use Swype which due to the way it works I don't use the autocorrect like that. 

 

I'll have a look later to see if you can fiddle with the settings to make a difference.

same here it doesn't really affect me but I thought I'd mention in case it affects other aspects of the su6 that I've yet to discover.

Have same issue and have not found a fix. Tried different keyboards and a reset too, to no avail [emoji29]

That happened to me too with the stock keyboard. But I use TouchPal. It has an option for a 4x3 keyboard (which I prefer), and when it doesn't recognize a word I can just spell it and it asks me if I want to memorize it. I don't remember how it works with qwerty option though, but I think you can save the new words...

I have problem with stock and Google keyboard.. Sometimes for example.. I was trying to write "blue" and the correto goes crazy and multiplies the word... And correct it wrong..

Since 5.1 this issue is fixed for me.
