Annoying Background Data niggle

Guys, not sure if this has been mentioned on this forum before but I'm having 'odd' little issues with Lollipop V Play store.

Quite simply, every so often I get an error message regarding 'Background Data' or the lack off, followed by closure of the Playstore. 

I have followed the help guide where it says to turn this on in settings..... It's already set right in the first place?!

Anyway, I have since performed a factory reset and got the message again just now. Despite the fact that I have been using the Playstore?!
