Guest PaulOBrien Posted December 10, 2015 Report Posted December 10, 2015 This is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 - the latest in Xiaomi's line of 'budget devices'. This is budget devices on another level though - the Note 3 packs a Mediatek Helio X10 processor, PDAF 13 Megapixel camera, 32GB storage, 3GB RAM, a 5.5" screen, metal unibody, fingerprint reader and a might 4000mAh battery. All for well under £200 imported! We're going to be putting the device through its paces, but in the meantime, do you have any questions? Fire away! Full details and specs are here on mi.com (in Chinese). View full item

Guest macbreakweeklyfan Posted December 11, 2015 Report Posted December 11, 2015 Hmmm, I have the DISTINCT feeling I've seen this "floating through space on different planes at a jaunty angle, on a white background to look rather artistic" look before on a website for a phone named after a rather crunchy green fruit, launched not so many months ago... :p LOL

Guest Roger Barnett Posted March 16, 2016 Report Posted March 16, 2016 There seems to be several variants of the redmi note 3. Am I right in saying that the mediatek cpu is the 'basic' version, whilst there is another pro / prime version which sports a qualcomm snapdragon 650 cpu? Can you provide any feedback regarding the comparative performance of these two variants?
