Screen burn?

Hey all, 

 

I have a weird issue, my su6 has (always I think) had a strange white line running across the middle of the screen, maybe an inch from the bottom. It's mainly visible when viewing white pages, I initially thought it was something on the pages I was viewing, but I've since discovered it's the phone itself. 

It's really minor, and is only visible on bright/white screens, but really annoys me. 

I assume (a) this can't be easily fixed and (b) I'm well within my rights to get a replacement from carphone warehouse? 

Anyone else experience anything similar?
