Does HUDL 2 support simultaneous OTG and charging?

Does anybody here know whether the hudl2 supports simultaneous OTG and charging?

I tried my KitKat Hudl2 and it doesn't

I didn't go Lollipop because my KitKat is rooted and because I'm afraid OTG will simply not work with Lollipop

Which lead did you use? With other tablets people have reported success with this cable:

But which lead did you try to use for simultaneous OTG and charging?

This lead and  an USB hub

But why bother? Are you doing an inventory?

My Lollipop Hudl works with OTG but does not charge with the cable I have. I used it to connect a keyboard and mouse to the Hudl. With the HDMI output, it can replace my mum's 10-year old computer.

OTG works just fine with a Hudl 2 running Lollipop. Can't vouch for simultaneous charging as I've not tried it.

Not quite right. Overall OTG works fine with some Lollipop Hudl 2s, but not others. Opinion seems to suggest a slight difference in hardware.

Coincidentally, I have just posted a possible workaround to the OTG problem that requires a fully charged device. Finding a OTG/charging solution could be a fix for the OTG problem.

Just tried it no luck, I can run mouse/keyboard or mouse/pendrive, but doesn't power through at all.
