What is this rom?

Gipsy rom is a stock based rom,totaly debranded,debloated and deodex with some added apps, created with the idea
to have the stability of the stock with more performance but with good battery life

Added setup wizard to choose your own lenguage

Stock theme by default
based on latest spanish MR07b stock rom
rooted
Lite (only 500mb)
all rom deodexed
teleservice modded to enable "only 2g" on network prefered options
debloated
debranded
deleted all google apps only present playstore and nedded apps to get work playstore
Instalable from internal memory(it dont format your files)
All lenguages unlocked (34)

How to install:

Copy Gypsy_ROM_v5.zip to your internal or external memory
reboot on TWRP recovery
wipe factory reset
flash gypsy rom
wipe dalvik cache & dalvik
ON first boot go to supersu settings & disable "mount namespace separation"
reboot and enjoy

 

Tips for battery save

-download kernel auditor,
on cpu set max freq 1113 and min 800(dont touch the governor)
on gpu set max 465mhz

-go to settings/display
disable adaptative brigthness(control manually are more eficcence)
disable double tap to wake(one core of CPU are always working if you enable)
on touch key light duration choose "always off"(led notiffication still working)

this tips improve your battery life and it not reduce the performance too much

 

About snapdragon camera:

it´s a camera especific for our socs,on first boot go to the settings camera and power off "ZSL" option,after
that,go to "focus mode"and adjust un AUTO and enjoy,this app is only a alternative,the stock camera works well,
but i prefer this one because it have many options,if you dont liked or needed you can unistall easy ,like a other app

no ,zte luncher is deleted yo can delete nova on my zip rom, but first add any launcher ,if you need i can create a flasheable zip with zte launcher

just tried to flash this but it says:

mount: failed to mount /dev/block/bootdevice/by=name/system at /system: device or resource busy

symlink: some symlinks failed

E:Error executing updater binary in zip '/external_sd/Gypsy_rom.zip

Error flashing zip '/external_sd/Gypsy_Rom.zip'...done

 

any ideas ???

 did you wipe factory reset first?

 

Try to flash directly from internal memory,not from sd card..and please reply results

gmail app doesnt work i get an error and ask to report or close

also the app for showing the pictures. Dont know if have the same problem with other apps

maybe the gmail update is the problem unistall,reboot on recovery,wipe cache and dalvik and try(i dont know why this issue,the gmail app is not deodex is the stock app)[emoji20]

the problem with the gmail is the update, i fixit

flash and do  wipe dalvik  and cache

yes i did a full wipe first

i have not tried the internal memory to flash it yet though,  i had to flash the flux rom as a needed a working device....flux rom works from sd card !

thats the problem full wipe format system,and later when you try to flash device dont "find" the system partition if you want install but only do factory reset...
