Guest AdrianHon Posted November 30, 2002 Report Posted November 30, 2002 [Edited by Site Admin, thanks for the submission AdrianHon!] SYMPTOM: Sometimes my SPV becomes stuck on the headset profile, even when I haven't been using the headset. Since you cannot manually change the profile when the phone thinks the headset is plugged in, there is no current way to fix this other than repeatedly plugging in and unplugging the headset jack, or fiddling about with a bit of wire. RESOLUTION: 'repeatedly plugging in and unplugging the headset jack, or fiddling about with a bit of wire.'!
Guest akarno Posted December 6, 2002 Report Posted December 6, 2002 I had this and got Orange to replace the handset. Seems to be a mechanical rather than software problem. Solution: Phone needs better quality jack socket!
Guest safoot Posted November 20, 2003 Report Posted November 20, 2003 thanx thanx thanx for your lovely forum, it enabled me to go to the company i bought my spv from and by telling them that 100's of people have listed the same bug they replaced it for me. But i think this problem happened to me because i have bought a 2.5-3.5mm jack from RADIOSHACK and used it, So don't try to make this.
Guest Will Posted December 15, 2003 Report Posted December 15, 2003 Known bug/hardware issue. Already passed to Orange (i believe). I will lock this topic, feel free to repost or PM me to get it unlocked. Will
