Guest sekinhuh Posted March 12, 2016 Report Posted March 12, 2016 Hi guys. I need some help rooting my SU6. I bought it last thursday, and i tried to root it, and even though mobilego said it worked, and so did root checker on my phone, the root did not survive a reboot. After reboot, SuperSU tells me there are no installed binaries. i believe this means that the system is write protected? I've read somewhere that you can still root it using TWRP. i would have to install TWRP after root is succesfull and before reboot right? than install the supersu zip, and everything should work? But my main question here is: is there a away to backup my current recovery menu, and if so, how do i do it, in case i need to reverse the phone back to original? Thanks in advance, sekinhuh

Thanks in advance, sekinhuh All of the stock recoveries are available up here: So if you want to revert the phone to its original state, you can simply download and install it from the appropriate link. And yes, the method you're saying is right. That's how I got myself rooted too. Edited March 12, 2016 by lmod

Guest kunft Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 why would you need the portuguese recovery? just use any other
Guest sekinhuh Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 I wanted to make sure i could revert to full stock. I was messing around with flashify and noticed it had an option to backup your recovery menu, so i solved my problem that way, than flashed twrp and than the supersu .zip. Thanks to everyone for the help!
Guest sunderland.rj Posted March 28, 2016 Report Posted March 28, 2016 Mobile go did not even survive removing the USB cable for me. So while it's still plugged, install flashify and install the twrp recovery. After reboot twrp will ask you to slide to install SU. Reboot, click the 'superman' character in your app draw to finish the rooting process. Phone now fully rooted and running revolution remix which is an awesome ROM. Bit late I know but I hope it helps somebody :)
