Screen Cracked!

Hi guys,

Screen has cracked on the Hudl2.  I now have the crazy trippy LCD look where colours are all over the place, and can't actually see much on the display correctly.

Any ideas, where to get a screen replacement, and steps to replace the screen?

Google? I see a few, usually second hand screens there. If course you have to fit it yourself which I doubt is easy.

It's not actually that difficult to replace a Hudl 2 screen, but it can be intimidating if you have never done anything like this before. eBay and Amazon both sell replacement screens in any of the 8 Hudl 2 colours. These cost between £29.99 and £34.99. Because the screen is bonded to the LCD, you actually have to remove all of the components from the broken Hudl 2 and move them across to the new screen. Hopefully I'll have a video completed showing to how to do this on my Hudl 2 repair website over the weekend: http://hudl2.jellypie.co.uk
