Any medics know of an electronic bnf or equivalent?

Is there a version of, for example epocrates (for palm tops) for the spv

Not that i know of.

I know of the one you mention. I think there are some availlable for pocket pc too, but some one with programming knowledge needs to port it to the spv. Not been done yet

But we live in hope! it would make my life much easier!

for sure; any programmers willing to do the work would find a willing market...........

BNF is the British National Formulary.

used by doctors mostly to find out what a certain medication does, interactions, reactions etc. and also if they interact/react with other medicines.

Would be bloody handy for doctors on visits to patients.

Mind you with a doctor about to write you out a prescription looking at his phone for about 5 minutes might put you off a bit! hehe
