SIM only contracts are all the rage nowadays. If you can stomach the cost of a phone up front (and let's be honest, phones that are very live-with-able are getting cheaper by the day), then it's the most cost effective option. We spotted this a super deal courtesy of Uswitch offering 1000 mins, 5000 SMS and 1GB of EE 3G data per month for only £5.95 inc VAT, on a 1 month rolling contract with smart cap and tethering included. Bargain!

The deal is being offered by 'Life Mobile', which is an EE MVNO owned by EE. The main difference to the parent network is that service is 3G rather than 4G ,but we think this isn't likely to be the biggest issue for the avid bargain hunter!
