Guest RBurt Posted August 17, 2016 Report Posted August 17, 2016 (edited) I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 and am trying to change my SD card to adoptable storage. I am using ADB and get the disk:179,0 address, but the real issue is when I do the partition, it returns immediately and doesn't create the partition. I have developer turned on, but under USB Configuration I don't get Software Transfer choice. All I get is Charging, MTP, PTP, RNDIS, Audio Source and MIDI options. What could be wrong? I am baffled as to what is happening. Someone please help. USB debugging is on. Edited August 17, 2016 by RBurt
Guest gustavo zaera Posted August 22, 2017 Report Posted August 22, 2017 Hi there, I am experiencing the same thing after I got my S7 Edge back from repair. Any news on this? I have tried everything in the guide posted by Paul O'Brien with no luck:
