TWRP Problems

Hi, I have a smart ultra 6, and it has developed a fault common in the devices meaning that a strip (1cm wide along the left side of the phone) is unresponsive. I have installed TWRP version 3.0.2.0 and am trying to flash the CM port that was posted here. unfortunately, due to the strip of screen I cannot press and drag the bar to 'swipe to confirm' the flash. Does anyone know a way to get around this? I can't find a port for CWM fot the SU6 and can't rotate in recovery obviously. Maybe there is a TWRP theme that changes the position of the swipe/changes it into a button? Thanks
