Guest Boggledrooter Posted October 30, 2016 Report Posted October 30, 2016 Hello, I am trying to root my su6 with king root. Sometimes it roots goes after rebootnand then when I try again it keeps failing. I tried flashing twrp with fkashify and then flash SuperSU from twrp and still lost the root. And now when I try using king root the phone keeps restarting and then king root says failed. Is there anything I'm missing? Is it the bootloader and how do I unlock it? I have searched on the net and can't find out how to unlock the bootloader I did hear the su6 bootloader is tricky. Thanks for the help
Guest femilovechild Posted October 30, 2016 Report Posted October 30, 2016 So many info on modaco and xda about rooting su6. Read thru and you will find your answers. Search for my name and you should find a guide I wrote about it. Seriously though, time to ditch the su6 and go for the su7 since there is no more update for su6
Guest MinesAbeer Posted October 30, 2016 Report Posted October 30, 2016 Go to the link below, make sure you install the correct drivers for adb to work, read description in the link, then follow the instructions. Worked first time here, although not promising anything...... http://www.modaco.com/index.php?/topic/375625-[sUPERB!-ROOT-WITH-THIS-TOOL,-VIA-WINDOWS]-Wondershare-MOBILEGO

Guest femilovechild Posted November 1, 2016 Report Posted November 1, 2016 Why ditch a perfectly good phone and buy effectively the same phone for £135 just to get MM when it's already outdated with probably the same chance of getting updated? Well, it's a matter of choice really. I myself, am still using my su6, knowing fully well there is no chance of seeing update on it. I won't advice anyone getting it now though, with the amount of pain it's put me through.
Guest hcardoso483 Posted November 3, 2016 Report Posted November 3, 2016 Budget phones never more, carriers lack of support and OS updates, deceiving ppl with new devices that after 6 months are outdated makes me think that is just a waste of money, they are in some cases goo's devices but sadly the greediness to the network carriers liking bootloaders and basically condemn a good device to a short life so budget phones never more
