Guest mecheal733 Posted April 19, 2017 Report Posted April 19, 2017 I am going to sell my old Android phone and want to know if factory reset would permanently delete private data on the device. I read online that the data still can be recovered after reset.

All data that has been put on it or saved is recoverable, the data themselves still exist on somewhere in the memory.... it's an old story of computer science. No software in the world can remove it unless it's software that cause the device to overheat and burst into flames and thus destroying it in such a manner, like safewiper for Android which can help wipe your Android data.
