Need help with 6.0.1

hello there my device has 6.01 version i want to root the device , is it possible?

ive googled it and downloaded tons of files like odin flash tool, adb, sdk 5.1.1 rom etc what the heck im gonna do with these

i f i have to downgrade to 5.1.1, how can i do that? PLease help thanks
