Guest Firaas Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 £200-300 on average for the SPV. And if you're asking if the phone will be barred if an insurance claim is made on the phone, your answer's yes. It's insurance fraud, and the phone becomes the property of your friend's insurer, who will without a doubt ensure a bar is placed on the phone to protect against fraud. If not, expand upon the phrase "CLAIM ON THE PHONE". And please don't use caps - they're stupid, and make you look like an idiot. 500th post, yay.
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 You can be jailed for insurance fraud can't you?
Guest Firaas Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 Yep. I do believe you can get done for fraud and obtaining by deception.
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 Where'd his post go heh?
Guest Firaas Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 Haha. I think we scared him off :)
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 Hope so From what I gather (as I missed this post earlier) we don't need idiots who want to openly break the law here  Let's keep the site clean and open we know O and MS are watching so hopefully we can all benifit from a helpfull site. :)
Guest yatpeak Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 What the heck was this all about? What does ff mean? How does it relate to insurance fraud? Thanks, Wyatt
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted February 23, 2003 Report Posted February 23, 2003 He mentioned earlier about screwing over his insurance company, but replaced the post with "ff" after i mentioned insurance fraud can get you jailed.
