Guest Paul [MVP] Posted November 30, 2002 Report Posted November 30, 2002 Just a quick note to let you all know that I have successfully used the USB Cradle with Activesync 3.6 on Windows NT, using the bSquare USB driver for Windows NT. Very nice! P
Guest Chopper Posted November 30, 2002 Report Posted November 30, 2002 Is this the driver I require for XP as I don't recall Xp being listed when I tried to install active sync.
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted November 30, 2002 Report Posted November 30, 2002 No, this is only required for NT, which doesn't support USB natively. P
Guest thornd Posted December 23, 2002 Report Posted December 23, 2002 i have just purchased this (bsquare NT USB) and installed but when i run activesync it cannot find the spv inspite of com5, which servers as the USB port on NT ( i am told) being visible in the connections. bSquare support say they do not support smartphone and are talkin about patching the registry etc but i cannot find the correct event in Event viewer. Did you do anything special to make this work>
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted December 23, 2002 Report Posted December 23, 2002 No registry patching required - just plug and go! P
