Android phone battery drain

My phone extremely rapid battery drain. It's drains really quickly when it gets below a certain level, usually, 20% to 30%, and shuts down in a few minutes. Why is this hapenning? Shoud I replace the battery?

How old is the phone, generally Li-ion batteries have a life of around 500 charges so if you phone is a few years old it may need a new battery.
