So why is it that with some themes you can open and edit them with a regular XML editor but that with some they either assosciate with the silly simple theme generator or open as gook ? Are some themes written in something other than XML ? Are people using a WYSUWYG XML editor and if so is there a free one ?

Search download.com for Peter's xml editor, free and easy to use.

Mental note to upload that later...

xmlspy 5 home edition was given away free on PC Plus cover disk 1 of issue number 200 (March 2003). You need to reigster it, but what does is give you the Enterprise version (I think) for 30 days, then it reverts to home edition afterwards.

Issue 200 was good value IMHO, cos they also gave away a copy of Directory Opus 6 (known as DOpus), anyone who had an Amiga should remember DOpus. It is a replacement for explorer on windows (well this version is), and before anyone says why bother, just try DOpus, its so much better than explorer.

Cheers, Vince
