Enabled MMS and lost browsing ability. Anyone else?

Got my phone last weekend. Everything OK - browsing, e-mail except MMS. Contacted Orange on Wednesday and they sent me a SIM update to enable MMS. Now I am able to send and recieve Photo Messaging to e-mail :D . But I have lost browsing ability :( . Called Orange Thursday and was told to wait 24hrs for another SIM update to fix it. Called Friday after no update received. On the phone for 50 minutes with 'Steve' going through absolutely every setting. He had to give up in the end and has passed it to Tech Support.

Anyone else come across this. I'm still in 14 day returns period and think it is going back. But will persevere cause I actually quite like it. :!:

Hey Paul thanks. But I went through all this when talking to Orange on Friday. They actually said that the DNS settings should be set to 0.0.0.0 for both pri and sec.

I saw the post you refered to and did set the DNS to those suggested but still no luck.

Any more ideas gratefully accepted

did you say you could send photos to email?

i thought a bug stopped this and that you could only send them as an MMS?

Well I am sending them as an MMS to e-mail acct successfully but as has previously been mentioned in another string the 'FROM' address is not my e-mail acct but my phone [email protected]

I had the same error

I just Hard reset my phone

VOILA
