MMS contacs... ???

Hi this is just a quick question.

I dont have my manual on me thats why i am posting the question here.

Well Ok, When i am writing an MMS and want to select a contact I can choose diffrent names some of them with diffrent symbols!

MY question is, what does the symble with the cellphone and the red car symbolizes?

I have that symbole for all my contacts, where I DONT have an mobile number but ONLY an email adress. but i can not select the email adress, nur gives it any information when i select an contact with that "mobile and red car" symbole. And cant select the email adress either ,-(((

on the other had, contact where I have an cell number AND email. it shows correctly with the appropiate symbols and also can choose either adresses/numbers.

ANYBODY with the same problem?

or can you select conacts in MMS mode that ONLY have an email, but no mobile number?

The answer to your contacts query is this :-

The little envelopes are for email.

The mobile phone picture is for a mobile phone.

The mobile phone and a car picture are for the Car Phone field in contacts.

Just tested it, and it works.

It doesn't have an icon for things like pagers, home fax, work fax, assistant phone or radio phone or obviously any of the home phone fields.

But it does take email 1 and email 2.

ok but the wired thing is that I DO NOT USE (never entered any info to) the CAR PHONE field in ANY of my conacts! - and the CARPHONE icon only shows up at contacts where I DO NOT HAVE a cell number but ONLY an EAMIL ADDRESS. - BUT IT DOES NOT LET ME CHOOSE THE EMAIL ADDRESS, it only shows the carphone icon with NO carphone number (well because i dont use the car phone fields)

maybe it is my phone! - could someone PLS create a contact that ONLY has name and EMAIL ADDRESS, not an cell number. and see if he can choose the CONTACT with the email address in the MMS - Add To: sending option!
