I REALLY HATE ORANGE!

this update was a thing every one wanted.

We are able to text orange with our problems, they are bound to know about modaco but not many of the problems have been fixed.

Yeh we have more battery (still have to test)

Yeh the phone is a little faster

EDIT: looks like signal indicator is better (one thing i did want)

but over all not much has changed.

These two extra apps??? are they really worth keeping IA ALBUM is a better picture software any day. Sound manager?? whats all that about im never going to use it. if i want a new sound i will get it from my pc and if i want to record somthing on the phone i will put it into voice notes.

One thing i really want is a character counter on the SMS writer, but no orange dont listen to our views and are to busy with their heads stuck up their own asses.

I wish i never update, i can live with the slow menus, im never in a hurry. I can live with charging my phone every night, its not the end of the world, and these two apps ive said there is no point in them.

So thats how i feel, if you feel different then...... thats how you feel, but we are all have to have our say.

SmartFone.co.uk has been lacking updates, if you havn't noticed. i have just havnt had time to do it with work and stuff. I hope to put on a sound uploaded and software uploaded, like the image uploaded currently on the site.

As i dont have alot of time to run the site i would like to make its as self running as i can.

If anyone would like to purchase the site (or domain name) reasonable offers will be met. (if you do buy the site JabberCE advertising will have to stay for just under a year).

maybe because this is an orange/htc update, did you really expect lots of nice new freebies, change in actual operating system (such as sms char count)? if we are likely to see this, then it will most likely come from a microsoft update, not orange/htc.

i think this update is very much welcomed, to me, 3 of the 4 main issues have been solved (slow response, signal strength, battery life), only thing not fixed is the keypad button size (errrr, dont think thats fixable in a software update hehe, spvx seems to fix, and i aint complaining about the keypad anyways)

You're very easily pleased.

Orange should be working in conjunction with Microsoft and HTC, Microsoft won't issue an update for our phone, its Orange's responsibility, and they should be working with MS to implement all the standard features missing (SMS counter, etc).

How can you be happy with a phone that still, 4 or so months after launch, cannot do things that an old Nokia 3310 could?

I want a counter when making a SMS. Its just a cheeky way to get more cash out of you cos you will pay for 2 texts rather then one.
