Post Update Weirdness

Recommended Posts

I applied the update this afternoon and appear to have lost all labels in the settings menu, I go to sounds and get a long list of available sounds with no labels saying which relates to which, in other menus I get a load of numbers appearing which are editable but don't mean anthing! As well as that the navigation seems to have got much slower......

Hope I'm not stating problems others have already posted - I have done a quick search but couldn't find anything.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Karl.

Had a weird problem where I couldn't write letters in text messages, only numbers, and the status symbol (T9/ABC/123) didn't appear in upper right corner. Restarted phone, worked fine. Try restarting your phone, might do the biz.

Yeah, tried restarting it and it's not done anything, the quick menu thing has disappeared too, if you touch the on/off button it just turns off.

What update are we talking about here. It's only 09/12/2003 so it can't be the 1.61 update, is it? If it was one of the other updates available for phones in other countries I've read elsewhere you take your chances when using it.

Just look at the posting dates of the top three messages, they are from february 2003. (DuH)

They're actually talking about the first UK update (1.3.5), released way back in February

You thought the buildup was bad for 1.6, you should have seen the frenzy over this one!
