Guest elementalist Posted November 30, 2002 Report Posted November 30, 2002 Anyone have any ideas on this one? If I copy a .mid that is in the SPV's Windows area and even just open it and close it in Voyetra's Digital Orchestra Pro (never mind make changes to it) and then attempt to use it as a new ring tone (putting it in the SPV's Sound directory) it won't play (just gives a couple of bleeps). In fact any .mid I make makes the same couple of bleeps. Is the DOP .mid file the wrong 'format' .mid file? Is that possible? Has anyone else made .mid files that worked? Polyphonic ones, even? Thanks
Guest chewie Posted December 1, 2002 Report Posted December 1, 2002 The SPV will not play any midi that isnt midi 0! even if you get a nice midi0 it will sound s*** on your SPV because the phone cannot play polyphonic midis! Basically do not ven attempted to play midi files cuz yuo wont even recognize the song!
