Time to call Orange

I'm resigned to the fact its screwed :/

Seems i've been stung by the Canary hang problem. I've tried every solution suggested on this site and none of them have worked. I've been trying since 5:30 with no luck.

Now i'm off to call OCS and hope they don't try and get me to waste my breath trying to explain the problem. all i want is a new phone :)

Its a shame really, i'm not angry with Orange and i was fully aware of the risks, i'm just very very disapointed at the lack of testing and improvments this update has had. No WinME compatability and a known problem that can nuke the phone (a suggested solution to the problem is on the update download site, this has not worked either).

So, off to 156 i go....
