When using the handest as a modem for PC, do you pay call charges or do the usual GPRS charges applied?

When it is connected and running is there a little G on top of the signal strength bars or a thing that looks like a telephone handset?

If it's a G you are using GPRS and GPRS pricing will apply. If it's a telephone handset then you are dialing a number and call charges will apply.

When its running the little G does not appear but instead i get two arrows pointing in opposite directions.

I have set up the GPRS connection on my PC using the guide that was posted on this forum a few weeks ago. The dialup number being used from PC is *99#. What you reckon?
