I left mine like that for an hour before getting suspicious. Then hit the left softkey (to unlock phone), shutdown in normal way, rebooted and voila.

I had this too, left it there for over an hour before I unplugged the battery.

'Phone seems fine now (except picture manager - but that was crap anyway).

I gave up after 10 minutes and pressed the power button!

It just re-booted instead of turning off and everything was great! :)
