Guest DJHope Posted December 1, 2002 Report Posted December 1, 2002 I got my PAC code from t-mobile and instantly rang up avrmobiles.co.uk same old story no stock yet but its expected soon. These PAC codes only last for 1mnth and according to the guy from t-mobile i have to wait a consecutive mnth before i can get another PAC code, time is seriously running out, i have been waiting two weeks for the phone and if it dosnt come next week then due to the fact that it takes 7 days to use the PAC code then time is up ill have to wait another month before i can try again. I am hearing reports that they MIGHT have some nxt friday (not from avr but from this forumn) thats cutting it seriously fine. Any sugestions? I want a new contract not an upgrade and i dont want to pay 100 quid ala direct from orange, avr are offering 20, 80 quids a huge price difference. I might sound desperate but this is annoying as you might be able to understand.
Guest Funkyberry Posted December 1, 2002 Report Posted December 1, 2002 Hi there... Just wondering why you want to go there... Call the Carphoneware house's sales line on their website, and they will do it for free... I spoke to someone in The Link shop in Guildford, and told him that I was interested in the SPV, but that a lot of places on the net were doing it for free, and that the CPW's sales line would do it for free... and he said he had no problem in doing it for free for me, but that it was upto Orange whether I got a Voda 200 + 300txt contract matched... So to conclude I would say this: With this phone being in such short supply, don't restrict yourself to one company. If you want to wait, then everyone will have them in, but as everyone I've spoken to who actually has the phone in stock will give it to you for free - then go there! -funkyberry-
Guest DJHope Posted December 1, 2002 Report Posted December 1, 2002 CPW had none in stock, just rang! :D also i wanted OVP Everyone 100 i havnt seen any free SPV's on that tarrif!
Guest dj simonz Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 http://www.mobileshop.com/mobilephones/ora.../orange_spv.php try the above link, mobileshop.com they say they are expecting some on friday this week but as u were asking for OVP everyone 100, they do a O2 100 price plan which is pretty good with includes +50 sms free per month
Guest dj simonz Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 i forgot to type they do the spv for free on OVP O2 100
Guest DJHope Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 Arr T-Mobile are such liers, first of all he told me OVP plans only lasted for 6mnths then they move you onto a more expesnive Orange tarrif, since you sign up to a 12mnth contract i knew that was bulls**t! Then he tells me that the PAC code only lasts for a mnth, then you have to wait another mnth for a new PAC code. This again i find out is also bulls**t, The guy from Car Phone Warehouse tells me as soon as the old PAC code runs out i can get a new code immediately!!! Arg what mobile companies will do! I always liked everyone 100 so im definately sticking to that tarrif thanks for the advice tho!! DJ Hope
