I want to decert my phone and wanted to check if Paul guide at

is the same process exactly as the one needed after people have installed the update?

The reason i asked is im picking up bits of info from people asking about this and lots of talk that its discussed elswhere etc.

I just wanted to make sure that link is current and was updated yesterday when the process changed slightly, less files to edit or something.

I believe there is only one file to edit now, similar name.

If you have not yet installed the update then that is the correct way to de-cert your phone.

If you have updated your phone the process is very similar except for the changes mentioned here!
