GRRRR! Lack of Category management...

I use Outlook categories quite extensively -

perhaps as I'm a bit of a db fetishist and like to cross-refer everything.

What I don't like is the one-way ticket with categories on the SPV :x

Once they're on its a game of file deletion to get rid of them again. Total pain in the (!)

Advice please anyone? Is there an easier way [any way] of managing contact categories than nuking my SPV files until they're gone?

And no, deleting them in OL on my PC still left them on my SPV.

Or perhaps, is someone cooking up a tool to deal with them?

IMHO its another one of those MS omissions, of which there seem to be a fair few. I don't hold much hope for a SP2002 Service Pack, as the only mention so far has been basically -

"Just wait to see the cool stuff we've got planned for SP 2003..."
