Guest sykix Posted February 26, 2003 Report Posted February 26, 2003 sorry, misread your post i'll take a gander at the registry
Guest Yousaf Posted February 26, 2003 Report Posted February 26, 2003 thnx :) i guess i better look for php registry editor and install it myself aswell
Guest sykix Posted February 26, 2003 Report Posted February 26, 2003 download the embedded visual development tools 3.0 from www.microsoft.com/mobile (link off from there on left - developer / downloads), it contains a remote registry editor. Much better when you are at your desk.
Guest Yousaf Posted February 26, 2003 Report Posted February 26, 2003 cool ill give it a shot - let me know if you have any progress aswell
Guest sykix Posted February 26, 2003 Report Posted February 26, 2003 It appears that SmartphoneHKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftMAPI stores the mail database. I'm not able to verify this since I can't access the file, but I assume that this contains the folder hierarchy for poutlook. The other two options store (I assume) the body of messages and their properties, and the attachments of these messages and their properties. (I have just three keys here, DbPath, PropertyPath and AttachPath) Seems like it could be a good way to move mail onto the storage card if it gets too large for the phone's built in puny storage size. I'm not sure what could be wrong on yours, you'll have to examine the keys (what I've given is only just a pointer). BTW, to get to WCE Remote Registry Editor, goto the embedded visual c++ and choose Tools -> Remote Registry... Hope this helps
Guest sykix Posted February 26, 2003 Report Posted February 26, 2003 DbPath should point to IPSMcemail.vol
Guest Yousaf Posted February 26, 2003 Report Posted February 26, 2003 its cool i did a hardware reset and re-applied the de-cert and all seems to fine now - but thanx for the help dude
