Has anyone else noticed that if the phone is locked via the quick menu, pressing any of the number keys, the screen switches to the password entry screen. Whatever keys pressed appears as an * on the screen. Does this mean that it's possible to accidentally enter the random password whilst the phone is pocketed ? if so, what happens ? does the phone get locked if a number of incorrect passwords are entered. hmmmm. matt.
Guest spacemonkey Posted February 26, 2003 Report Posted February 26, 2003 The chances of bumping in several wrong password and bumping the left softkey to try them and locking your phone by accident is very very unlikely. This does however reintroduce the fact that bumping keypad keys in your pocket will cause the screen and backlight to come on, thereby using up battery power.
