Guest mike-oh Posted February 26, 2003 Report Posted February 26, 2003 OK, so now we've got the update, and a few bugs have been fixed and we've a couple of bits of newish software. But what does eveyone still want? Let me start...in no particular order. 1.) SMS character counter (aside; are we actualy being charged for the extra messages when we go over the 160limit. I'm not so sure we are!) 2.) Added IR functionality, i.e. the ability to transfer images or sounds instead of only being able to receive them. This could either be a seperate app or a "send via IR" option in picture and sound manager. 3.) A file browsing utility, explorer style 4.) Task manager (for those who haven't decerted yet, i jump out of planes for fun but i still daredn't decert the phone! :)) 5.) An install file for the PC to get the USB modem working for those of us without XP! 6.)Worms World Party, i heard ages ago it was being developed but nowt since! There's probably more so lets hear them. Everybody with me shout ;) "HELL YEAH!" mike
Guest Myke Posted March 7, 2003 Report Posted March 7, 2003 7.) T9 support that isnt from the 90s also, why havent you decerted yet? its the easiest thing in the world.

Guest PsychoDave Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 Java Please :) :)Java Please ;) :D
Guest yatpeak Posted March 10, 2003 Report Posted March 10, 2003 Word and Excel viewers, PDF viewer, eBook viewer, Worms World Party, SPEEDWAY JAM!!! (Java'd be good too) Wyatt
Guest athertop Posted March 11, 2003 Report Posted March 11, 2003 The ability to re-send a failed text message I thought should be a piece of the basic functionality, Instead having to find the message in the sent items folder and forward it, removing header text and selecting the recipient again is just a pain in the @rse. I mean this was available on my first digital Nokia in 1997 - come on Microsoft, we are well into the 21st century now! Cheers, Paul
Guest casper508 Posted March 11, 2003 Report Posted March 11, 2003 Improved camera performance cos I use it quite a lot and dont have a digicam.
Guest kpc Posted March 12, 2003 Report Posted March 12, 2003 Word / Excel readers , pdf readers and Java. 8)
Guest yatpeak Posted March 13, 2003 Report Posted March 13, 2003 What about Hexacto finishing those other games they promised!? Lemonade Stand looks good for passing 5 or 10 mins. Wyatt
Guest drblow Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 Considering the great things we already have, I would love an app for the pc, which would save the status of the phone at any time (like getback for pc) - including decert, installed apps, current skins etc. So that if everything goes arse up, you could reset at the touch of a button! Am I dreaming?
