Danish T9 update - when????

Hi there!

When the Danish update was released we were told that it came without Danish T9 - but a new update would be available before mid-February. The Danish Orange page still says "Before mid-February" but erm... It's now the 26th of february. Anybody knows WHEN the update will actually be released? And anybody knows which kind of calendar they use at Orange Denmark - because it's definately not the same kind which I use...

i have a friend who works at the o shop, and he told me that they are working on getting it done in the nearest future. I know that it does not help at all. But it is a start.

Orange shop staff know jack s**t about anything SPV, and they're certainly not made aware of progress as regards updates. Not to put your mate down, of course, he's only treading the company line....

After numerous attempts to contact various Orange DK departments with SPV-related questions, I can only come to the conclusion that they have no-one there who has a clue about the SPV.

The most interesting thing about this article is this:

"At the same time we will give SPV-owners 'suitable' compensation for the problems that the delayed update has given. I won't tell customers through Mobil [the Magazine/website] what this compensation will be, but we think it will be very suitable"

....are they going to de-cert our phones, I wonder? Anybody?

I very much doubt it, probably a free version of all-explorer or something.

It seemed that post uk-update the T9 dictionary was saved after reboot, although i didnt test it fully. However after having to pull the battery the other day the dictionary seems to have reset again. Anyone fancy having a play to see if pulling the battery is the problem to confirm?
