Icons in the Start Menu

I've installed a few games like Hic, Snake and QBickie. They all work fine but they do not seem to generate a proper graphical icons in the start menu, instead there is just a blue and white box that resembles a TV screen.

The problem occurs when you play a few games and the home page then displays several of these blue and white box icons together in the recently opened programs list. Which one refers to which game!

Is there any way for these games to generate better icons or can that only be done by the game programmer?

I have that problem often too.

But it seems to be only temp though. Sometimes they are there and sometimes not.

You can have application name shown in MRU plugin if you want. See skins on smartphony for examples.. SP does not seem to 'extract' icons properly out of non-standard apps. Been mentioned before and is known to be somewhat of an issue..

PS: This is def. not for the Main section..

The skins with that mru plugin are great i really like the functionality of program name display! However i dont like MRU icon display. Is there a way to get this function when using a skin that just has small set of icons?

I made my own xml that used the small icons and being able to add this function but not use MRU icons would be cool!

I think the apps I am talking about do not have an icon programmed into them.
