Live Webcams on SPV

Last week I had a go at trying (not too successfully) to use my SPV as a "webcam" :)

On monspv.com they "claim" to have SPV webcams around the world!?

If you keep hitting the refresh button the images do move.

Can't see much proof that these are spv's. Also, spv webcam would be cool, but why tie it to a fixed location like that?

+ how do you use your SPV as a web cam

when the same serial/usb slot is used by the phone/camera P.C ????

I think the idea isn't to have SPV's used as webcams, but to have webcams that can be viewed on an SPV.

I guess it's handy if you want to see how busy town is before you go out! :)

Well, I just checked the SPVcam in central london, and absolutely nothing has moved in the last 30 seconds, so I guess the webcam function is a lie.

Actually...5.30pm in central London...maybe that was an accurate image! :)

If you view it on your PC and refresh every couple of seconds, it does move :)

i have a webcam monitoring my property... yes i can see it through/ on my spv. its handy when im away!
