Guest Pagemakers Posted February 26, 2003 Report Posted February 26, 2003 How does these various games console emulators work? After installing the emulator software how do I get it to play say a Game Boy game that is stuck on a cartridge......yes I know, call me stupid.
Guest spacemonkey Posted February 26, 2003 Report Posted February 26, 2003 Search on the web. GnuBoy will play ROM files of your gameboy cartridges with filenames like .gb and .gbc These ROM images can be attained by using appropriate hadrware devices that read your gameboy cartridges and write the contents to a file on your pc. Some games are legally available on the web where there are no licensing issues. Search for general emulation information which there is a vast amount on the web. This site being about SPVs should only really be used for discussion on these topics where it is relevant to the specific implementation of these emulators on the SPV. All of these emulators are available for every other conceivable platform or operating system.
