Guys - does this French update enable Win98SE users to use the USB modem function of the SPv (many people seem bamboozled by this one)?

I still could not get USB or IR Modem working on Win ME even after UK/FR Update.

I have since upgraded my Laptop to XP Pro, and have successfully tested USB Modem (using the originally supplied CD, not the "new" modem ini file posted elsewhere on this site).

(I have no idea what the "new" file does, or how it should be applied)!
