Help Please: How to install UK update over DK update!

I have heard that this is not possible but also that there is a workaround on this forum. I have tried searching high and low but cannot seem to find it.

Could somebody please point me to the post that describes how to do this.

Also... would anybody recomend installing UK update rather than leaving DK on?
