Guest mike-oh Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 Remember the old amiga/pc racing game Lotus Turbo Challenge? Well would it be possible to port Lotus Turbo (or ultimate) challenge to the SPV? Or has anyone done it? I think it would be ideal for the spv, v little cpu useage i should imagine, and hours of fun! Hopefully the pics will jog some memories Thanks, MikeLotus.gifLotusEspritTC-t.jpg
Guest midnight Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 something like that may happen  of course outrun is much better
Guest midnight Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 but again, why port? the game source hasnt been released, so it would have to be made from scratch and if you are to do that may aswell make a brand new game which means no copyright infringement
Guest mike-oh Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 Ok, do whatever you like to it!! I just want Lotus  ;)
Guest midnight Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 lotus esprit turbo challenge you have about ZERO chance of getting
Guest mike-oh Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 DOH! How about different names and cars then? I remember someone wrote some VERY succesfull software that for my Ti-83 calculator, although it was greyscale (even on a monochrome display, i kid ye not, seeing is believing!) it recreated the original lotus game extremely well! Ahhh, the hours spent racing away during maths and chemistry when teacher thought i was busy doing sums ;)
Guest Richie M Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 Wait for Midnight's game Mike - i think you'll be happy
Guest midnight Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 we are looking into an outrun type of game, will have to wait a while until we finish our other racer tho
Guest midnight Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 heheh, i have a 3 types of lotus type cars planned for our game (based on elise, exige, esprit) of course they arent really lotus, erm, cough, cos that wouldnt be allowed.

Guest fraser Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 Did anyone ever get a 4 player on the Lotus games, with two Ataris or Amigas linked up? Back in 1990, that was the business!
