[B]The Update Killed My SPV![/B]

OK, so I downloaded the update today. I followed the instructions to the letter, put my SPV in the cradle, synced it and begun installing the update. Halfway through, the thing croaks saying 'Error 113' and advises me to take the battery out for 30 seconds and try again.

Now, my SPV permanently displays that stupid tri colour Canary screen. When I plug it in and try and reinstall the update, my phone is no longer visible to the PC.

Try removing all of the files the installer puts on your PC (C:Program filesRUU) and in theory the updater should start from scratch. I don''t know this for sure but it seems feasable (see below)

I had this exact same problem, and inbetween me calling Orange for help on Tuesday morning and waiting for them to get back to me i tried running the update on a different PC, it started from scratch and completed without a hitch (hence the suggestion to "uninstall" it on your current PC)

Easiest way imho is to try updating it on a second or mates PC.
